Summary

This bill would establish a Department of Emergency Medical Services, headed by a Commissioner of Emergency Medical Services. The Department would be vested with the power to perform functions and operations relating to general ambulance services, emergency medical services and other response services necessary to preserve public health, safety and welfare.
