A Local Law to amend the New York city charter, in relation to the mayor’s office of operations establishing and maintaining an online tool for measuring performance of city agencies

Summary

This bill would require the Director of the Mayor’s Office of Operations to establish and maintain an online tool for members of the public to view measures of performance of City agencies. The performance measurement tool would include metrics integral to the quality of life in New York City, and the agency information used to measure performance would be required to be updated daily. The Director would also be required to conduct, at least twice each year, reviews of the effectiveness of the online agency performance measurement tool and to implement any changes for improvement based on such reviews.
