Summary

This bill would require the Department for the Aging (DFTA), in consultation with the Department of Health and Mental Hygiene, to submit a plan for reopening senior centers, which have been closed because of the COVID-19 pandemic. This bill would require DFTA to solicit and incorporate input from senior center providers. DFTA will submit the plan to the Mayor and Speaker of the City Council and make the information publicly available by posting the plan on its website.
