Summary

This bill would require the Department of Transportation (DOT) to study whether and if the coexistence of bicycle lanes and school bus routes on city streets poses safety risks to children riding school buses and bicyclists. DOT would be required to submit a report summarizing its findings and recommendations to the Mayor and the Speaker of the Council and to post the report on the DOT website.
