Summary

This bill would require monthly reporting to the Council on participation of minority-owned and women-owned business enterprises in services contracts entered into by the City to provide assistance during the COVID-19 state of emergency. The reports would be prepared by the City Chief Procurement Officer in the Mayor’s Office of Contract Services, in consultation with the Division of Economic and Financial Opportunity in the Department of Small Business Services. The information in the reports would be disaggregated by agency and Council District, as well as race/ethnicity and gender. Agencies would be required to provide the City Chief Procurement Officer with information necessary to complete the reports.
