Summary

This bill would require owners of multiple dwellings with 10 units or more to bear the cost of providing tenants with broadband internet service or its functional equivalent. Such dwellings would be subject to additional technical requirements, including the installation of Ethernet ports and wiring to facilitate internet access. Violations would be punished under the Housing Maintenance Code.
