A Local Law to amend the administrative code of the city of New York, in relation to information about certain community land trusts
Summary
This bill would require the Department of Housing Preservation and Development (HPD) to post on its website and report annually to the Mayor and the Speaker of the Council, about regulatory agreements executed with community land trusts (CLTs). The report would include information about technical or financial assistance and outreach provided to existing CLTs and to existing organizations seeking to form CLTs. The report would also include the name of each CLT that executed a regulatory agreement with HPD, the address of the property that was the subject of the regulatory agreement, the date the regulatory agreement was executed, became effective, and expired, and a summary of the terms of the regulatory agreement. HPD would also be required to report on any requests for proposals that included preferences for organizations that would utilize CLTs.
