A Local Law to amend the New York city charter, in relation to early voting

Summary

This bill would require polls to be open for early voting from at least 8:00am to 8:00pm on weekdays, and at least 9:00am to 5:00pm on weekends. In addition, this bill would require the New York City Board of Elections to designate at least two polling places for early voting in each council district. Beginning on January 1, 2023, the minimum number of early voting locations per council district would increase to four.
