A Local Law to amend the New York city charter and the administrative code of the city of New York, in relation to advancing gender, racial, sexual orientation and income equity

Summary

This bill would require all City agencies to complete gender, racial, sexual orientation and income equity assessments, create action plans based on such assessments and report on efforts undertaken to implement such action plans. This bill would also require that the Mayor’s annual Social Indicators and Equity Report include certain citywide equity metrics and agency-specific data.
