Summary

This bill would require the Department of Citywide Services, in consultation with the New York City Commission on Human Rights, to create an exit survey for retiring municipal employees and those municipal employees voluntarily leaving city service. Each departing and retiring employee would be administered the interview within two weeks of their last day of service. Starting March 30, 2022 and annually thereafter, the Department of Citywide Services would also be required to submit a report on their findings to the New York City Commission on Human Rights and the Council.
