Summary

This bill would require the Department of Health and Mental Hygiene (DOHMH) to develop and publish transmission mitigation guidelines for private employers in the event of a highly transmissible disease emergency. The bill would also require the Department of Transportation (DOT), in consultation with the Metropolitan Transportation Authority (MTA), to develop and publish guidelines and recommendations for the public to reduce unnecessary travel and the usage of public transportation in the event of a highly transmissible disease emergency.
