Summary

This bill would require the Department of Parks and Recreation to post signs at the entrances or exits of parks and park facilities stating the rule prohibiting a person from leaving dog waste on the ground. This bill would also require the Department of Transportation to post signs at the site of a complaint if a complaint or request has been made to 311 concerning the removal of dog waste from sidewalks or pedestrian plazas. The Department of Transportation would also be required to report on the number and location of signs posted and the number of 311 complaints or requests received by the department.
