A Local Law to amend the administrative code of the city of New York, in relation to requiring the department of transportation to review any changes to the public fees charged by a bike share program

Summary

This bill would require the Department of Transportation to conduct a public hearing regarding any proposed changes to Citi Bike charges or fees. This hearing would occur pursuant to the DOT’s contractually stipulated opportunity to consult with the bike share operator regarding price adjustments. In addition, any subsequent contracts or contractual amendments would require the department to approve prices and price adjustments.
