A Local Law to amend the administrative code of the city of New York, in relation to housing decisions made for transgender, gender nonconforming, and intersex individuals

Summary

This bill would require the Department of Correction (“DOC”) to create a comprehensive appeals process for transgender, gender non-conforming, intersex, and non-binary individuals and would require the Board of Correction (“BOC”) to establish an independent advisory committee to inform the process.
