Summary

This bill would require that the New York Police Department deploy at least one Traffic Enforcement Agent (“TEA”) to direct traffic within 100 feet of every public or private school, K-12, with at least 250 students. The TEA would direct traffic two hours before the beginning of the school day, and 30 minutes after the beginning of the school day. The TEA would also direct traffic 30 minutes before the end of the school day and two hours after the end of the school day.
