Summary

This bill would require the Department of Sanitation, in consultation with the Department of Transportation, to develop a pilot program to install cigarette butt receptacles in areas where frequent smoking activity occurs within a designated pilot district and to provide for the recycling of disposed butts. The pilot program would continue for at least one year following the installation of receptacles.
