Summary

This local law would require an agency designated by the mayor to create and implement a broadband readiness survey for new residential buildings of 6 or more units or a new commercial building. The Department of Buildings may not issue a permit for applicants of such buildings until it certifies the applicant’s completion of the broadband readiness survey.
