A Local Law to amend the administrative code of the city of New York, in relation to purchase of zero emission heavy duty trucks

Summary

The proposed local law LS adds a new a new subdivision i to section 24-163.4 to the Administrative Code of the City of New York to require that the city purchase or lease of heavy-duty vehicles be 15% zero emission by 2025 and 30% zero emission by 2030. This LS also provides for three types of zero emission heavy-duty trucks—battery electric, fuel cell electric and catenary electric.
