Summary

This bill would require department of city planning, in consultation with the department of buildings, the office of emergency management and the office of long-term planning and sustainability to conduct an assessment of the density of development in flood-prone areas to determine whether that density interferes with the ability of residents in those areas to safely evacuate during storms and other natural disasters.
