A Local Law to amend the New York city building code and the administrative code of the city of New York, in relation to egress path markings

Summary

The proposed local law would require owners of all new and existing residential buildings 40 feet or more in height to install luminous egress path markings to delineate the exit path. Such existing buildings shall install luminous egress path markings by December 31, 2018.
