A Local Law to amend the administrative code of the city of New York, in relation to emergency evacuation preparedness for individuals with disabilities or limited mobility

Summary

The bill would require the Fire Department, in consultation with the Office of Emergency Management and the Mayor’s Office for People with Disabilities, to develop a planning checklist to residents of apartment buildings to assist in the development of individualized emergency evacuation plans by March 1, 2019.
