Summary

This bill would require that alternate side street parking rules be suspended within a five block radius of any point along the work site where the New York City Department of Transportation (DOT) is engaged in street milling or resurfacing work and the work has resulted in the use of available parking spaces. The DOT would also be required to post signs within the designated area indicating that the rules have been suspended.
