Summary

This bill would require the Department of Cultural Affairs (DCLA) to submit to the Speaker of the New York City Council and post on its website information regarding DCLA’s spending to support cultural organizations and institutions as well as DCLA’s spending on direct agency expenses. The information should be provided no later than July 1, 2019 and on or before July 1 annually. The information would be disaggregated by zip code, borough, community board, and council district.
